How your subscription, trial, and plan changes work.

Pro runs a single shop with online booking, scheduling, payments, and reporting, and you can add memberships as an add-on. Legion includes memberships and adds commission and rent collection, the Venmo Tip Jar, the client retention engine, multi-admin support, and up to three shops.

How the trial and first charge work.
New accounts start with a free trial. You add a card when you start the subscription so your shop tools stay active, but you aren't charged until the trial ends. You can cancel any time before then and you won't be billed.
When plan changes take effect, and what you're charged.
Upgrades take effect immediately so you get the new features right away. Outside of a trial, you're charged a prorated amount for the rest of the current cycle.
Downgrades are scheduled for the end of your current billing period, since you've already paid for it. You keep your current plan and its features until your renewal date, then move to the lower plan automatically. There's no charge or credit at the time you schedule it.
While a downgrade is scheduled, your billing page shows the switch date and a button to keep your current plan if you change your mind.
Cancellations run to the end of the period.
When you cancel, your subscription stays active until the end of the current billing period, then ends. You keep access to everything you've paid for until that date, and you won't be charged again.

From your billing page you can add or remove add-ons on top of your plan:
